I'm a dynamic learning experience design professional with 20+ years of eLearning design, training, and adult education experience, including content authoring, and development, as well as staff development training. Integrating Section508 and WCAG accessibility standards into digital learning assets have provided me with added insight into addressing the needs of all learners.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Enterprise Leadership and Learning

Anthem Inc.  |  Remote  |  2016 - present  |   Learning Experience Designer

  • Learning asset design and development to support compliance and inclusive training, leadership training and development, and implementation of enterprise projects (delivered to over 70k employees).

  • Led sub-team to develop accessibility standards that meet Section508 requirements for various learning assets such as, Storyline 360 courses, Word documents, video, etc.

  • Collaborated with QA review sub-team to update current QA review documents and integrated 508 compliant standards where needed.

  • Co-facilitated Accessibility in eLearning Design session at Anthem’s first learning conference, October 2021.

  • Provide accessibility expertise in various aspects such as informing Standards and Governance regarding basic accessibility standards, as well as addressing vendor accessibility issues and questions on new projects.
